Tuzigoot National Monument

Near Sedona is the Tuzigoot National Monument. This pre-Columbian Indian ruin is on the top of a hill about 20 miles south of Sedona. It was a rather large stucture comprised of several dozen rooms and as many as 3 stories tall.


Tsukiko and Yoshiko are standing in one of the rooms.

The structure followed the contour of the hill.

The walls are about two feet thick and are made of stone with a clay-like mortar.

From the top we can see the extent of the complex down one side.
