Death Valley - 1999 Trip

Titus Canyon

Titus canyon is probably our favorite place to visit in Death Valley. Starting from Rhyolite there is a one-way road thatleads to and through the canyon. The park service states that is is accessible by 4WD vehicles only, but when conditions are good we have seen ordinary passenger cars travel through it (maybe they were rental cars, eh?)

Anyway, because it is one of our favorites you will find a lot of photos here of Titus Canyon.

This is a view from the floow of Titus Canyon.

Here is a coyote we saw while entering the canyon

Cliff is walking down the canyon.

Cliff is taking a rest and enjoying the scenery.

Near this canyon oasis we looked at some indian petroglyphs.
