 The road to Eureka Valley was over 20 miles of rough wash board. Before heading thru the Hanging Rock Canyon we came to Crankdhaf Crossing. |
 At the crossing one road lead to Gold Poinf and the other to Hanging Rock Canyon and on to Eureka Valley |

 Apparently someone once lost their crankshaft here; hence the name. Now others leave their crankshafts here, too. |
 We have finally reached the Eureka Valley after about 2.5 hours driving. |
