Mammoth Mountain

The above picture is the Devil's Postpile. The Devil's Postpile is a National Monument
located just west of Mammoth Mountain and east of Yosemite.

Mammoth Mountain is an interesting area to visit. In the winter time it serves as a large ski resort and in the summer time it has some fine lakes for fishing. There is nice hiking into the minarets area and the Devil's Postpile National monument is also nearby.
