From Yellowstone National Park we went to Troy Montana, some 525 miles northwest. We planned to have one stop at Thompson Falls, MT. on the way there. Our truck broke down about 20 miles out of Thompson Falls but we managed to limp in and stay at the Birdland RV park there. Our dear friends, Cliff & Judy Akin came down the next dat to take us and our trailer up to Troy whilst our truck stayed in Thompson Falls for installation of a new rear end (differential).

They like the natural parks where there is a lot of grass and shrubs rather than a lot of concrete |
