Bison in Yellowstone
We saw a lot of bison in the park this year. They ranged from near Lake Yellowstone where we were camped to Hayden Valley to the north.

 Across the Yellowstone river the bison were grazing near a thermally active area. Sometimes they fall through the crust into a hot pool. |
