The third WBCCI rally, we participated in was the 4-day "Statue of Liberty Rally" in Jersey City, NJ. Located on the grounds of the Statue of Liberty State Park, just across the Hudson River from Manhatten, it was a perfect place from which to visit the city of New York.
We had unimited access to the water taxi which would take us across the river in 10 minutes to where the World Trade Center stood. From there we could ride the double decker sightseeing busses all around Manhatten and Brooklyn as much as we liked. All included in our rally fee. You put on a GREAT rally Al Pescoe!
While I was initially apprehensive about driving our trailer to the New York area andabout finding my way around Manhatten, the arrangements we so well prepared that there were no problems at all. In fact, our New York visit was one of the highlites of our trip.
