Lunenburg area, Nova Scotia
We would have liked to explore the entire "Lighthouse Trail' from Halifax to Yarmouth on the southern coast of Nova Scotia. But since we had only 4 nights we dicide to concentrate our visit around Lunenburg. Lunenburg was settled by Swiss and Germans in 1623. It was a major seaport town in Nova Scotia and maintains much of this flavor today. We spent 4 days in this area and explored parts of the "Lighthouse Trail."
