A Cross Country Odyssey - 2003

Cape Breton Island

The Bretons love their music. They have their own special style. Almost every night there is a ceilidh (pronounced kay lee) where fiddle and piano music is played and step dancing is performed

These children are playing at a ceilidh. They were really good.

At the music institute these young ladies demonstrated the aspects of the Cape Breton music.
