One day there was an open house to see the vintage Airstream units at the rally. There is a subsection of the WBCCI especially for owners of vintage trailers (over 25 years old) and there was a special section for them to park at the rally site.

Steve, too. This trailer has 10 stars (above the 1935 number on the front) meaning it has been in the WBCCI for at least 50 years |

Rear view of the Torpedo. These trailers were actually home built from plans since the first production of factory Airstreams did not begin until 1936. |

This looks to be about a 1937 model Airstream and is similar to the one Wally Byam travelled with around the world |
It is amazing that these old trailers are in such good shape |
