February 2011 Linda and I successfully escaped from NE Iowa earlier this month between winter storms. Due to single digit temperatures, the trailer and truck loading process was not as orderly as I had planned, but all the "must go" things made it, I think. ooo

May 2010 As our year as International President comes to an end, we are becoming increasingly aware of the many misconceptions in the WBCCI. Inaccurate perceptions can be very destructive. The best way to dispel these misconceptions, which can cause much internal strife, is through better and more open communications. ...

Mar 2010 February was a busy month for the club with the Marketing Committee adding color to the on line Blue Beret (for direct access go to blueberetonline.com) and the 2020 Committee reporting they had met and are working on ideas, to be presented at the June IBT, for restructuring the WBCCI.
Feb 2010 I want to thank the Region Presidents for working together at the Mid-Winter IBT Meeting in Rayne, Louisiana. With courtesy and respect, you addressed some difficult issues.
Dec 2009 Be sure and register for the 53rd International Convention/Rally before January 1, 2010 and save $20.00 per couple or $10.00 for a single. Not only do you save a few bucks, but the earlier we know how many are going to attend, the better we can plan for the best rally possible.
Nov 2009 This is the second full year for the Regions to have the opportunity to participate in the Region Planning Guide and Award of Excellence Program. The program, chaired by Past International President Jim Haddaway, is similar to the Unit Planning and Award Program, as it is to be used for the Regions to better plan for successful region activities and also to measure the results of that planning.
Sept 2009 Hopefully you have found the new WBCCI forum linked to wbcci.org. The forum has a world of information including many topics, help, blogs and a place to ask questions and find answers.
Aug 2009 If you have been a WBCCI member for any length of time, I am sure that you have spoken on the phone or e-mailed one of the hardworking ladies at our Jackson Center Headquarters.
